| Cultural requirements and other comments: A unique, small,
clumping species from southern Thailand and Malaysia. It occurs naturally as an undergrowth palm in monsoonal tropical forests.
The leaves are undivided and 1-2 feet long with a beautiful , diamond-like shape. Best if planted in a shady, protected area
with adequate moisture and highly visible. Definitely a highlight in the landscape if placed appropriately. |
